Introducing Anytime Risk Management

Risk is inherent to life and business and it takes constant vigilance to stay on top of it. That’s why PLM places a significant emphasis on risk management for your operations, with 16 dedicated loss control and 26 business development representatives across the country, all trained to recognize the risks common to businesses like yours. Now, PLM is introducing the opportunity to see your operations through our eyes firsthand with our Anytime Risk Management (ARM) tool.

ARM is a digital tool that lets you take control of the risk management review process with the same support and advice you’re used to from PLM. Through a simple link that is accessible on any device, you can walk through your operations answering questions and taking pictures of the items that come up most often in your insurance buying experience. With you in the driver’s seat, the ARM tool can be used on your own schedule without having to coordinate multiple parties for a walkthrough. After you’re done, conference with your trusted PLM representative to discuss your operations and any opportunities to tighten your risk management efforts.

As the wood industry and insurance technology evolve, PLM is staying ahead of your needs by taking our loss control services into the future. While not all insureds will be immediately eligible for access to the ARM tool, we are continuously seeking ways to expand the use of this tool and others like it to provide you with real-time support to keep your business safe. When risk management becomes second nature, you can focus on growing your business.

To begin using ARM, the process is simple:

  1. We’ll call you to introduce the process. After our conversation, you will receive an email that will link you directly to the ARM tool.
  2. Armed with this link, you can complete the process at any time and on any device. We’ll ask you to answer some questions about your operations and take some photos of different areas. Do early mornings or late afternoons work best for you? Do you prefer to use your phone or to sit in front of your laptop? Regardless of your answers, ARM affords you the opportunity to work the tool the way that best works for you.
  3. After you’re finished, submit your information to PLM, where your trusted loss control and business development teams will review your results, the same way they do when they are on site with you.
  4. In a follow up conversation, you and your PLM representative will discuss your operation at length. With risk management at the focus of all that we do, we will make recommendations to help keep your business safe. Remember that you can ask us anything! ARM is your inside look at how we see your operation.
  5. Tell us what you think! After you use the ARM tool, we’ll ask you your thoughts. You are our main priority, so we want to make sure that the products and services we’re offering are a benefit to you.

Be on the lookout for further communication on PLM’s Anytime Risk Management as your business becomes eligible to use the tool. If you have any questions, please contact Dan Braiman, Loss Control Manager, at dbraiman@plmins.com or 317-875-3617.
