Spotlight On: Barber Recognized as a 2024 Emerging Leader

We are pleased to share that Traci Barber, Assistant Vice President of Customer Service, has been recognized as a 2024 Emerging Leader for the sixth annual Emerging Leaders Conference, hosted by APCIA, the Insurance Careers Movement, and AM Best.  

As an Emerging Leader, Traci will be joining a group of extraordinary insurance professionals. The 2024 Class of Emerging Leaders are high performers from more than 80 different companies that are making a significant impact on business transformation, data, AI, privacy and tech innovations, the new shape of work, customer service, legal and regulatory issues, societal issues, DEI, philanthropic work, and so much more. 

Traci has over 20 years of customer service experience in the insurance industry. During her time at PLM, Traci has created a customer service team that has not only become a front-facing part of the customer experience but has become a critical part in multiple internal processes. This includes submission intake, claims intake, billing, audits, loss control survey setup, and many others. 

Over the last few years, Traci has also led the operations team, which is responsible for rating all policies and handling smaller renewals. She has injected her customer service experience into these processes to make them smoother and more meaningful in the customer experience. 

Traci now leads a group of strong supervisors that sit over the customer service, operations, and endorsements team. She continues to grow as a leader and is developing future leaders to take these departments to the next level.
